allocations and utf8->utf16 conversions
Fix LLFile::tmpdir failing when temp directory is located in a unicode path on windows
Add Tracy profiler tagging to LLFile that's disabled by default
Replace LLFile::utf8StringToWstring with our fsyspath std::filesystem::path adapter
Introduce std::filesystem::path to llifstream/llofstream wrappers
Add move operators to fsyspath to match copy operator
Restore LLUniqueFile RAII class for direct c file io wrapping and reducing merge conflicts with downstream code that may depend upon it

background (#3063)
once again disable RenderAppleUseMultGL and RenderGLMultiThreadedMedia
also added a tiny fix for missing processor vendor in crash reports
|
|
* APR_DECLARE_STATIC and APU_DECLARE_STATIC gets already defined in APR.cmake
* Move both _CRT_SECURE_NO_WARNINGS and _WINSOCK_DEPRECATED_NO_WARNINGS definitions to 00-Common.cmake
* Always define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN and include subset of Windows API by default
* Remove llwin32headerslean.h and remove unnecessary WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN definition handling in llwin32headers.h
* Clean up includes of Windows API headers
* Get rid of workaround to link against IPHLPAPI.lib in lluuid.cpp - this seems to have been an issue in the past that has been fixed

MAINT-8991: only escape log message characters once, add unit test
remove extra log line created by LL_ERRS
document that tags may not contain spaces

When a 'family' code isn't recognized, for instance, report the family code.
That should at least clue us in to look up and add an entry for the relevant
family code.

continued conversion to units system
made units perform type promotion correctly and preserve type in arithmetic
e.g. can now do LLVector3 in units
added typedefs for remaining common unit types, including implicits
|
|
replace llinfos, lldebugs, etc with new LL_INFOS(), LL_DEBUGS(), etc.
|
|
changed Units macros and argument order to make it more clear
optimized units for integer types
fixed merging of periodicrecordings...should eliminate duplicate entries in sceneloadmonitor history
|
|
|
|
|
|
improved unit tests for LLUnit
renamed LLUnit to LLUnitImplicit with LLUnit being reserved for
explicit units
|
|
cleaning up build
moved most includes of windows.h to llwin32headers.h to disable min/max macros, etc
streamlined Time class and consolidated functionality in BlockTimer class
llfasttimer is no longer included via llstring.h, so had to add it manually in several places
|
|
simplified llfasttimer code down to 2 classes
llunit unit conversion now done in floating point or 64 bit integer precision,
depending on source type

syscall was REALLY chewing CPU time. Sigh. I didn't realize how incredibly often this gets called. So, back to the assembly.
But be more careful with CPU clock count on linux, so the fasttimer values are much more accurate than they were the last time we were with RDTSC, in absolute terms - back in the right order of magnitude anyway.
Also change many instances of Mhz to MHz.
Also some minor comment fixes.
